Dr Frauke Fischer is a biodiversity expert and works on the topics of biodiversity and ecosystem services both scientifically (as a lecturer for international nature conservation at the University of Würzburg) and as a management consultant (as the founder of Germany's first management consultancy with a focus on biodiversity) and also as the founder of PERÚ PURO (biodiversity-friendly cultivated, certified organic fine flavoured cocoa, chocolates and coffee from Peru). She offers lectures, workshops and trainings and has published more than 80 scientific articles and three popular science books. Among them the book entitled 'Was hat die Mücke je für uns getan? - Endlich verstehen, was biologische Vielfalt für unser Leben bedeutet'.
