After 14 years of experience as a foreign correspondent for the Handelsblatt, Susanne Bergius has been working as a freelance journalist and consultant for sustainable business and finance in Berlin since 2004. She has been writing the Handelsblatt Business Briefing Sustainable Investments for 14 years and has also been helping to set up the Tagesspiegel Background Sustainable Finance as editor since May 2021. She is co-author of the handbook "Understanding Biodiversity & Informing Decision-Makers" (2021), wrote the book "Questioning Investments and Investors" (2018) and is co-editor of the handbook "CSR and Finance" (2014). She has received several awards for her work. As a lecturer, she teaches media professionals. She is voluntarily involved in the non-profit network Weitblick - Verband Journalismus & Nachhaltigkeit e.V., which she co-founded.
