Frank Schwab

Frank Schwab is a strategic advisor in the financial industry, co-founder of the Frankfurt FinTech Forum, member of the Supervisory Board of Addiko Bank in Vienna and Advanced Bitcoin Technologies AG in Frankfurt, member of the Board of Directors of Gulf International Bank in Bahrain, the Risk Advisory Committee of PayU in Amsterdam and the Advisory Board of My Football Space in Frankfurt. Over the last 10 years, he has invested in several European FinTech and Blockchain start-ups. His thematic focus is on the intersection of innovation, technology and banking. Previously, Frank Schwab worked as Managing Director and CEO of GIZS (paydirekt/Sparkassen), CEO of Munich-based Fidor Solutions AG, MD of Token GmbH Germany, Senior Advisor for McKinsey, Chairman of Hufsy in Copenhagen and Member of the Technology Advisory Board of Sberbank in Moscow. He began his career with an apprenticeship at Deutsche Bank, for which he worked for a total of 21 years. There he was responsible, among other things, for the development of internet and mobile banking and served as Director of Innovation. A trained banker and business information scientist at the University of Mannheim, he also spent several years teaching creativity and innovation management at the Mannheim Business School and information technology in banking at the Wiesbaden Business School.
