FOREWORD

The Intalcon Foundation was established in 2020 as a funding body. Its mission is to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals globally. It does this by involving various, internationally active partners who are recognized in their respective fields and have a proven track record of success. The Intalcon Foundation was born out of the conviction that entrepreneurship is inextricably linked with a responsibility for people, nature and the environment.

With the Agenda 2030, the United Nations has declared 17 goals for which the Intalcon Foundation is working toward with great commitment. Not only financially, but also motivate others to join the mission. Because one thing is certain: the great challenges of our time will only be overcome together.

Guidelines

Using technology and capital primarly to secure the future for upcoming generations.

This vision guides the founders, management, employees and the many people associated with the Intalcon Foundation. People with families, children and grandchildren. All are aware that we share one earth. We want to leave it in a better condition than now. For ourselves and especially for following generations.

As a funding body, we are committed to the common good. We attach particular importance to transparency; document the efficient use of our funds and subscribe to the code of conduct of the Transparent Civil Society Initiative.

Transparent Civil Society Initiative

We are particularly concerned about climate change. In the long term, we aim to achieve climate neutrality or climate positivity by supporting suitable projects. We report on these projects, the impact achieved and the CO2 savings. Under this premise we support the foundation Allianz für Entwicklung und Klima.

We are committed to the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact for the respect of human rights, for fair working conditions, for an undamaged environment, for the reduction of temperature rises and for the prevention of corruption.

United Nations Global Compact

We are committed to social justice and equality. Both are essential prerequisites for lasting world peace. We do not favor or discriminate against anyone on the basis of their origin, skin color, language or gender.

With everything we do, we want to convince others of our mission and work towards supporting a change in behavior among our stakeholders. We do not delegate our obligation but take responsibility for development of our planet. We focus on finding solutions to grievances rather than making well-intentioned appeals to stakeholders.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide us with the framework for action to achieve sustainable development at the economic, social and environmental levels. It is up to us to adopt these global goals as a guideline for our actions.
